If you?ve seen any of the Harry Potter films (and we?re willing to bet big bucks that you have), you?ve seen their work. Their iconic style has become synonymous with the world of Harry Potter, adding layer after layer of detail and whimsy to the props and graphics seen in the films and beloved by the fans.

We are thrilled to officially announce that Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima (the duo behind MinaLima and the iconic graphic design of the Harry Potter films) will be joining us at LeakyCon!

Please help us extend a huge Leaky welcome to Miraphora and Eduardo! We hope you are as excited as we are to hear from such integral members of the Harry Potter films!

MinaLima?was founded in 2009 out of a coincidence of ideas between?Miraphora?Mina and Eduardo Lima. Mira?and Eduardo?had the extraordinary fortune to meet on the set of Harry and the Chamber of Secrets, and immediately forged an alliance of creativity and?humour,?connecting them in every design decision from then on.

Mira?studied Film Design at The National Film & TV School, London, after graduating from Central Saint Martins with a degree in Theatre Design. A career in film design then began, with Mira eventually?specializing?in graphic and prop design for some of cinema?s leading production designers.

Eduardo graduated in Visual Communications in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and?for several years?worked in editing on major Brazilian feature films. He moved to London in 2001 to enrich his professional experience, harnessing a career in graphic design upon his engagement in 2002 on Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where he met Mira.

Mira?and Eduardo have led all elements of the graphic design for the Harry Potter films.?As creators of the Marauder?s Map, the Daily Prophet and every other graphic prop in the film series, they have a superb and passionate understanding of the Harry Potter films.

After ten years collaborating on the largest film franchise in history, their Harry Potter graphic design expertise continues to be sought after ? from designing collectable merchandise to the hugely successful?Warner Bros. Studio Tour London. They recently designed the ultimate Harry Potter Wizard?s Collection DVD/Blu-ray box set?for Warner Home Video, which is to be released in September and is currently available for preorder.

Speaking at?LeakyCon?for the first time, this is a unique opportunity to meet the artists?who helped shape the visual world of the Harry Potter film series as part of the Art Department.

Mira and Eduardo will share how they created ?hero props,??as well as show?some of the lesser-known graphic pieces which only had a background role in the films!
