This week,? Alltech?s Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company is releasing its Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout in Kentucky and Ohio.? The bourbon-barrel aged stout is brewed with Alltech Caf? Citadelle Haitian coffee.
On Tuesday, November 26, Louisville?s 610 Magnolia will celebrate the release of Blackberry Farm?s latest cookbook, The Foothills Cuisine of Blackberry Farm. Iron Chef champ and Top Chef contender? Chef Edward Lee will create dishes based on his inspiration of the recipes and menus from the book.? Cocktail Reception & Book Signing at 6:30? Dinner with Wine Pairings and introductions by Sam? Beall at 7 pm. Tickets are $125 and include a copy of the book. (Lee will also be the chef for the Bluegrass Ball in DC, celebrating the 2013 inauguration).
On Monday, November 26, tune in to the Ne xt Great Baker on TLC. Lexington?s James Brown of Brown?s Bakery (a Cupcake Wars veteran) is one of 13 contenders this season.
?Dining Out for Life? is Wednesday, November 28, benefiting Lexington?s AVOL. Eat out at participating Lexington restaurants on Wednesday and a portion of proceeds will be donated to AVOL.
Lexington?s Barrel House Distillery (Devil John Moonshine, Pure Blue Vodka) will host a Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 15, 2012.
